How do I add the chosen date and time to the order confirmation email?

Here's how to add the date and time selected by your customers to the order confirmation email they receive.

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings
  2. Click Notifications
  3. Click on the email template you want to edit (in our case, Order confirmation)
  4. Find where you want to insert the information in the email, and paste the following code:
  1. Click Save.

All new order confirmations emails will now include the date and time the customer chose (if one was chosen). You are free to modify the code provided to suit your needs and email layout.

Note: The delivery date and time won't appear when using the Preview option. You will only see this information when an order is placed through your store. You should be able to make a test order yourself to check everything is correct.
